Victoria’s Secret Model Kelly Gale Shares Her Food and Fitness Diary

Victoria Dawson Hoff

When juggling busy careers and lives, it’s not always easy to find the time to hit the gym or prepare a healthy meal. For inspiration, we’re asking influential women in a variety of industries to share a typical day of eats and fitness, to see just how they balance a healthy lifestyle with their jam-packed schedules. Today, Victoria’s Secret model Kelly Gale reveals the workouts and splurges that keep her going during a day in her very active life—even during the madness of fashion week.

“I started my day quite early with a workout alongside Michael Olajide at Aerospace before breakfast. It’s always the first thing I do in the morning: If I don’t have to work or travel, I usually go every single morning to box.”

“Breakfast itself was plain yogurt, homemade pistachio butter, and homemade, grain-free müesli served with chopped-up apples. Before I left for my first fashion week appointment, I used a few minutes to quickly put together my lunch for later…”

“…Crisp bread with avocado, goat cheese, dried figs, and walnuts.”

“I worked and went to appointments throughout the day, and I brought some different types of raw dark chocolate to snack on. I make sure to eat 30 grams of raw dark chocolate almost every day—it’s one of the best snacks that’s both delicious and guilt-free.”

“Before dinner, I actually had some time to spare, so I went for a 35-minute, 8-kilometer run. Afterwards, I cooked the final meal of the day for myself and a friend before we went out to a fashion week event. I made chicken breast served with asparagus, spinach, and mushrooms, which I topped with shavings of parmesan cheese and little bit of aged balsamic vinegar. At the event itself, they served some light food and drinks, but I just had water because I was already satisfied after my dinner!”
